How do I install Privizee?

Click “Add to Slack” on the homepage and follow the OAuth flow. You need to be a Slack workspace admin, or have permission to install apps, to complete the installation.

What permissions does Privizee request and why?

Privizee uses Slack scopes to receive direct interactions, mentions, subscribed thread follow-ups, and files you submit. It does not bulk export, continuously monitor, or use unrelated workspace history.

How is my data handled?

Messages sent to Privizee are processed to generate responses and are only stored when you explicitly save workflow outputs, such as DPIA reports. We do not use Slack data to train AI models. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

How do I use slash commands?

Use /privizee [question] for compliance questions, /privizee-new to reset a conversation, and /privizee-interview [type] [@user] to create a voice interview for workflows such as DPIA or RoPA intake.

How do I uninstall Privizee?

Go to Slack workspace settings, open Manage apps, choose Privizee, then remove the app. This revokes access tokens immediately. Stored OAuth tokens and saved workflow records are deleted according to the retention terms in your agreement.

Does Privizee provide legal advice?

No. Privizee is an AI-powered compliance assistant and its outputs are informational only. Always verify guidance with a qualified legal or privacy professional before acting on it.
